I was about to write "impede growth" or "impede progress," but quickly realized, this IS all that, there's no finish line. Integration feels appropriate now.
Integration is a brilliant word. The ability to experience completely and with awareness. I feel like the worlds of leadership, wellness, and even creativity would benefit from replacing growth with Integration in many instances.
