Glad I stumbled across this. Personally this week is hard for me, exciting but difficult. I am planning to attend a writers workshop, and do my very first book selling, signing venture. Nervous. So much harder to hock my wears than write them. Wish me luck.

Thanks for being here, Diana! I hope the workshop is fruitful and you have an amazing time signing. Ah, the business side of writing ... if only we could just write and have others do that part. But it CAN be fun, and a great way to meet other writers and readers. GOOD LUCK! HAVE FUN! I'm cheering you on.

The week for me, reading more. Giving my hands, wrists, a little break.

Baking what I hope to be a cool biscotti flavor.

Stretching.

Love it, Jim. Presence. Such a simple word but so inexplicable. And thank you: "We’re never going to get everything done. This is OK." might have to work its way into my mantra loop this week. :)

Thanks for the prompt, Jen. My ego is on the backburner this week as I address distractions and anxieties. I'm hoping to clear my mental deck so I can write better in June.

Thanks, Dave. For what it's worth, I've been there myself a lot this year. I feel like we have to constantly reset creatively, but the writing's always there waiting (and often fueled by previous anxieties, though it doesn't feel that way when we're in the midst). June's around the corner!!!
